CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS: GET TO KNOW THIS NATURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY

In addition to the mystical mood of Alto Paraíso de Goiás, we find countless natural beauties that attract different tribes, among them esoteric, therapists, tourists and adventurers who are attracted by the crystalline rivers, canyons, waterfalls of all sizes and natural pools of this exuberant nature.
The city has a tourist infrastructure in addition to the nice restaurants and bars. The quiet village of São Jorge, 38 km from Alto Paraiso, was founded by prospectors who, in the 1950s, arrived in search of quartz. Located between the Rio Preto valley and the São Miguel river valley, it houses the headquarters of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, an internationally known reserve. In its dirt streets we find artistic and cultural manifestations, charming restaurants and bars that make the place very special.
